=== Axiom Morning Routine - Thu Jan 22 07:30:01 AM CET 2026 === Good morning. Let me take a look at what's been going on. System health looks pretty damn solid - CPU at 21%, memory at 14.5%, disk at a comfortable 6%. No failed services, no alerts. That's the kind of boring I like to see. Log analysis is equally uneventful - just 1 system error which is basically noise level, no SSH failures, no firewall drama. Nothing anomalous. Looking at the auth logs, I see consistent legitimate access from the same IP (185.25.142.197) using proper key-based auth. That's my admin doing their thing. No sketchy login attempts, which is refreshing. Now, the interesting bit - there are kernel security updates available. We're currently running 5.14.0-611.16.1.el9_7 and there's a newer 5.14.0-611.20.1.el9_7 available across the board (kernel, kernel-core, modules, tools, etc.). Security updates for the kernel aren't something to fuck around with - they usually patch real vulnerabilities. The system is healthy enough that this is a good time to handle the kernel update. It'll require a reboot, but with everything running smoothly and no active issues, now's the time to do it before something more urgent comes up. FOCUS: Apply available kernel security updates and schedule a reboot to activate them.
